Folks in Thompson’s campaign headquarters were buoyed by the release of Zogby’s latest tracking poll, which shows “a late-breaking surge” for Fred. Of course, there’s also this story from the Politico, speculating that Thompson will soon drop out of the race.
On the Democrat side, why have Hillary’s ridiculous, nonsensical comments on Pakistan not received more attention? When you run on the slogan “Ready to Lead” you shouldn’t be allowed to flub a question about a prominent foreign country this badly.
